Microsoft Windows 8

Windows 7 is great but Microsoft is still thriving to release its successor windows 8. The main difference is that it is more tablet optimized and is based off a different system kernel (no not popcorn) so the performance should be a bit better. Overall not much is different in all the current milestone builds the menu system is the same but windows taskmanager finally got revamped.

I don't think this is a worthwhile upgrade for standard users but for gamers and powerusers this i'm surely will be a must.

  11. I run XP for most windows applications, my Ubuntu desktop is the one I've set up to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye, it whoops the crap out of Windows 7

  20. I doubt I will use it as my main OS (at least for some time), but will probably Dual/Triple/Quad boot it (depending on which computer I use...).

  21. Windows 8 is really for those with touchscreen monitors and tablets. It isn't really for those who use keyboards and mouse so I'll just stick to using Windows 7.
