La crosse Bc-500 Battery Charger Review

So today I got my new La Crosse Bc-500 battery charger, so far it's been working great. I mainly bought this charger to charge the new Sanyo Eneloop batteries that are supposed to maintain its rated 1900mah capacity for 1500 charges. The charger that comes with the eneloops is sufficient but for long term use a quality charger is important to individually charge each battery as the stock charger charges 2 AA's at once in series.

  • 500mah charge rate per battery
  • Display for each battery showing the current capacity of the battery, voltage, and overall amperes.
  • Trickle charge after completion of charge cycle.
  • Detection of defective batteries.
  • Also the plastic is pretty high quality.

This is very useful in modern times because it will phallicism our lives.
It's always good to know that such things exist.

  10. Dude, that thing looks slick. I've been considering a new battery charger, since mine is starting crack out on me.

Doesn't look like this one does AAA's, does it?

  15. @R.gers in most cases no but this charger has 4 individual chargers build in to charge each cell on its own.

  16. With devices like these I wonder why people even get disposable batteries these days. They really are more expensive in the long run, seemingly wasteful, and just obsolete.

  18. I'm really going to have to invest in one of these. My camera eats batteries like a fat kid eats ice cream.

  21. That's pretty cool, but I don't use batteries that often anymore. I think they should make everything more powerpad accessible.
