QUAD CORE Ipad 3 scheduled for march release!

Apple is planning to release a quad core Ipad around march this year. The CPU will enhance multitasking and in general all applications that require loads of processing power such as Imovie. The new Ipad is also expected to include a higher resolution display and a better camera. As usual the price tag is going to be most likely $499 for the wifi and $599 for the 4g. There is also rumors of a lower priced 7" tablet which I think would be a great seller. Read more here.

  3. They should take more time to bring out a new GUI - I personally think it looks like shit, acts like shit and if you put it in your mouth... Well, it'd taste like shit... Therefore (who says that word??), I believe the iPad/2/3 are still... Shit!

  6. I really doubt the 7" one but they'd have to release the iPad3 with a quad core chip, they would be quite far behind android if not.

  15. That quad core is going to be so beastly, I'm tempted to grab one.

  16. People that keep buying these things are funny. Why do you replace something that isn't broken?

  18. Interesting...I just don't think I can keep with all the apple developments.

  19. So many developments. A quad-core ipad would be pretty sick though

  20. Next year, Apple will release the iPad 3 with more hd space and call that an upgrade worthy of paying a hefty premium and declare all previous models obsolete. No thanks.

  21. Wow, that thing should be blazing fast.

  22. It could also be blazing hot, as well as inefficient and short battery life.

  23. While that's kind of cool, it makes me wonder just how much processing power an iPad really needs...I mean. If they keep it up they'll have basically just recreated the computer (just flatter). O_o

  26. Apple are the WORST company!!! Quite happy to still live the dream of the alt to the big evil profit making software company and they instead release a upgrade for something every few months under a cloud of pretentious dribble that you need to buy to remain cool.

  27. Apple just don't completely understand. The current iPad 2 is fast enough, with it's dual core chip and all. I believe what consumers want is further integration with Mac OS X Lion. It's a SOFTWARE issue apple need to fix, not hardware. Why put a quad-core chip inside the thing when the game developers are limited to how much power their apps can use anyway? It seems bizarre to me. Now an iPad running Lion, or even a stripped down version of Lion would be infinitely better than something with is basically just a large iPod touch. But that's just my opinion!

  35. What's the point in having quad cores in this thing? It's not like you can use that much processing power since you can't really play most high-powered game with an iPad.
