Mechanical Keyboards becoming popular again!

Mechanical keyboards are rapidly gaining popularity among gamers and  typing enthusiasts. What's the difference between a mechanical keyboard versus a standard silicone keyboard? Well mechanical keyboards use a metal spring mechanism; which is louder but  provides a much more tactile and pleasing response than a typical silicone keyboard. Mechanical keyboards were mainly used back when computer first started being manufactured glad to see they're coming back they are awesome to type on! If your interested check out the company dasKeyboard they make some pretty nice ones like the picture above!

  6. I have a mechanical one with lights and tons of shortcuts. I love it and to be honest while most mechanical keyboards are loud mine is pretty silent.

  7. I love the sound of typing. I find it to be very soothing. Also, I feel like such a grown up when I type fast on them, the sound is so satisfying... like right now. I love my work keyboard.

  12. do they have a glow in the dark or a special keyboard for idiots like me who have to see when they type while laying down or they'll make all kinds of errors? how about a self correcting keyboard like a GPS? go left, go right, move your fingers up.

  13. I like quiet, but I wonder if the noise it makes would help me know when I've made a mistake.

    Love,

  21. A company called Ducky as well as Filco also makes them. Though they are still quite expensive. There is nothing in the world that can replace the tik-tak of a mechanical keyboard.

    1. My old keyboard is great! I've had it at work for 7 years and all the middle row keys are blank because I touch type and I've used it so much. Everyone who uses it, hates it because of that.

  29. yikes! that keyboard in the picture has no letters written on the keys. i don't hardly look at them, but i swear i'd freak out trying to type on something like that!

  30. I get in trouble for typing too loud so these ones would not work for me, I guess!

  31. Er... I want my keyboard to be as quite as possible since I'm usually awake during the night. I don't want to disturb the others with my typing.
