Cyanogenmod 7 (Android 2.3.5) on Amazon Kindle Fire

One of the ways to unlock you kindle fire to experience the full android market is to root the device but luckily there's a bunch of great roms to really fulfill this devices potential. There's even a cyanogenmod 9 android 4.0 rom available for this device but for now unfortunately there is no hardware acceleration for videos and netflix. Overall if you have a kindle fire or even a nook tablet there's many ways to root the device and install custom roms to get much more out of them!

  1. Don't have either one of those, but looking into the kindle maybe, either way yeah there shoud be lots of ways to root it to many other things as you say.

  4. I bought my daughter the Nook, but I'm not tech savvy enough to boost anything. I need to hire you as a consultant Baur.
