NVIDIA GTX 680 to be released soon!

Nvidia is about to release their third generation directx 11 Gpu's starting with the GTX 680. The GTX 680 is the successor to the GTX 580 but with 3 times the number of cuda cores at 1500! This new card also scores fairly higher than it's competitor the AMD HD 7970. On the downside this card only has 2gb of GDDR5 vram vs the 7970 which has 3. Also depending on the pricing of the 680 the 7970 may decrease in price making it a great buy for the extreme users that are willing to spend $450 on a new gpu.

  1. A decrease would be grand and that really looks like it can kick some butt.

  2. Looks pretty worth it if the price was a bit lower.

  3. Awesome! Would probably play BF3 smoothly maxed out, but so expensive!

  4. This thing looks like it packs a punch, but I still personally prefer to go with AMD
