Toyota unveils new Tesla powered electric vehicle

Toyota teamed up with Tesla- the company known for making some of the first electric sports cars- to create an electric version of Toyotas Rav4 called the Rav4 EV. Hopefully if this car is priced right electric vehicles will become more popular.

  3. I am hoping there will be more and more electric vehicles on the road. I even see they are putting the little gadgets for charging them up at convenient locations now. When I saw one I was like "WTF is that", then I saw it was a charger for the electric cars. They're coming.

  4. thats nice! i had the chance to test drive a couple of electric cars a few weeks back, they were allright too. btw: it was a smart (from mercedes) and a opel ampera which is a half breed electric car, it also has a regular regine for long distance use which is i think pretty good at least as long as the batteries aren't that well developed.

  5. I was just thinking today about how eventually I suppose all cars will be electric. Who knows, but it seems that may be the case.

  8. I don't care for the Rav product line. I would like to see a hybrid Venza on the road, otherwise Ford's Focus is similar(ish) and comes in a hybrid.

  10. Indeed, electric cars need to be priced right, as I think my aunt would love one.

  20. Hello! Thanks for this information. IF--and that's a big IF--the price fits my fixed-income budget, I'd certainly purchase one next time. The car I drive today is a Geo Prism LSi. Hannah is fifteen years old and has been a friend to me on many roads! But one day she'll let me know that it's time to release her from her responsibilities and find another car friend. When that day comes, I'll remember this posting!

Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday.

    Peace.

  22. If only electric cars have more charging stations than gas stations then maybe I'll dream of having one.
